Oh My Restless Soul

Restlessness.

At one time or another we all have experienced it, albeit some more extreme than others.  A child who can’t sit still.  A person who continually taps his foot. Another who never seems present in a conversation. The adult bouncing from one job or relationship to the next?  The restlessness can often mean we are discontented, bored or unhappy with a situation and wanting change.

But what if the restlessness we feel is simply related to not using a particular gift or talent?

What if sometimes the restlessness we feel is really one of our talents calling out to be revived and used?

You are uniquely designed with specific gifts and talents sown into your DNA. It is part of what makes you, you. When our talents are not nurtured or utilized to bear good fruit we will feel restless because we are going against our original design and what we were created for.

So, today if you and I  are restless could it be that there are gifts we aren’t using as much as we should or would like? This is one of the beautiful and profound ways the Creator has chosen to work and display His glory in this life…through us!  Let’s get started and use what we have been given. There is a world waiting!
